The Archaeological Collections
of the National Museum

Ras al-Khaimah was inhabited throughout the millennia, due to the existence of sweetwater in combination with fertile plains along the Hajjar mountains. This is reflected in the rich archaeological collections displayed in the National Museum, ranging from the 5th Millennium BC to the recent past. This section will give you a glimpse of the material culture of Ras al-Khaimah for the last 4500 years. the major periods are represented with some typical finds. Our aim is to add to this online exhibition in the future.
