The Iron Age

Large soft stone jar

Conical Jars with a flat bottom are a characteristic shape of the earlier part of the Iron Age. The pattern with chevron in the upper part and leaf-like triangles in the lower part is quite common. Especially in the southern part of Ras al-Khaimah large amounts have been found in the tombs.
