Wadi Suq Period

Small painted beaker

Beakers are the most common grave good in the Wadi Suq Period. They were formed on a wheel and the lower part was reshaped before burning. All beakers were painted in the upper third or half of the vessel either in black or rarely in a red colour. This beaker is painted with a single zig-zag line between horizontal lines.
