Wadi Suq Period

Spouted Jar

These Jars are the second largest group of pottery found in the tombs of Shimal. Typical for the shape is the spout, which sits either at the rim or on the shoulder of the vessel. All of them were painted in the upper third of the vessel. The pattern show a lot of similarites with the beakers.
